Having an aptitude for the more technical academic subjects at John Leggott College, Daniel Walsh was initially encouraged to pursue a career in engineering. However, Daniels true interest was in the creative arts. From an early age he was often found utilising computers to generate creative content, and his ability to combine the technical with the creative allowed him to embark on a degree in Post Production and Visual Effects (now called Digital Visual Effects) at the University of Teesside, from which he has recently graduated, achieving a 2.1 degree classification.
Whilst funding his degree course, Daniel was fortunate to secure a job as a rep for Canon, thus his interest in photography and photographic equipment was born. The natural progression of the combination of the inter-related disciplines has led Daniel to embark on his ultimate ambition of becoming an influential Director of Photography.
